When you apply to pay in instalments, you loose
your eligibility for the discount.
To submit an Application to pay your penalty in monthly instalments, you should use Form AARTO 04.
| The RTIA will consider your Application and notify you of the outcome. If your Application has been granted, the approval notice will specify the amount and number of instalments to be made. You must pay the first instalment within 32 days after receipt of the approval notice.
Your Application also serves as an acknowledgement of guilt, meaning that Demerit Points will be allocated and no further applications will be allowed, regardless of the outcome of your Application.
The maximum number of months in which to pay your infringment is in six (6) months regardless of the penalty amount.
